Studying Cookery at Workforce Development is one of the first steps in getting started on your Hospitality career path, we help you get the skills you need to work in Hospitality.
You’ll learn food safety and hygiene, food preparation and cooking techniques along with service skills and knowledge. After this course, you may pathway into further study or employment in the hospitality industry or wider community.

What is the course?
This course provides the basic skills to create a variety of dishes in a commercial kitchen. You will prepare dishes from fresh ingredients using a range of preparation and cookery methods & develop your presentation techniques. You will receive hands-on experience in our training kitchen to perfect your cooking talent.
